The 2017-2018 school year includes a wide range of programs to best support student growth and development. These programs include core courses such as English, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science which are shaped and inspired by the new BC curriculum. The school also offers innovative applied skills programs which allow students to work with equipment and technology that will provide them the skills to enter the competitive BC work force. These programs include woodworking, engine mechanics, metalworking, welding, digital editing, coding, drone piloting, and textiles.
FSJSS has 300 students enrolled encompassing all educational programs offer through the school. Our school community is a diverse population of learners: 100 of our learners have a case manager; 100 of our learners have psych-ed designations; 195 of our learners have Indigenous ancestry; our community has 28 teachers, 32 learning support workers, and 2 principals.
